Black inside - Fine Art Print

When visiting the House of Slaves on the island of Gorée (in Senegal), a quote written there really touched me. It says: "He is black on the outside and pink on the inside, I am pink on the outside and black on the inside". ⁠
This painting is my representation of it, my way of expressing my sadness for those dark hours of history, and my way to wish for a future without racism.
